Chart rankings on the Official Nigeria Top 100 are based on a weighted formula incorporating audio and video streams within Nigeria, as well as airplay on radio in the country. It is the first and only standard music chart in Nigeria, providing comprehensive music activity including the official No. 1 song in Nigeria
Asake’s “Gratitude” tallied 7.3 million on-demand streams (No. 1 on streaming) and 23.3 million in radio reach (No. 27 on radio) as it rockets to the summit of the Official Nigeria Top 100. As a result, it becomes his record-extending 17th No. 1 song on the official singles chart in Nigeria.

Asake Dominates the Top Ten, Breaks Another Record Held By Davido
Asake’s “Forgiveness” debuts at No. 2 on the Top 100 with 7.01 million on-demand streams (No. 2 on streaming) and 27.4 million in radio airplay impressions (No. 20 on radio). It is one of the nine entries by Asake in the top ten of this week’s chart; setting a new record for artiste with the most top ten entries in a week. The previous record was held by Davido with 8 during the first week of release of ‘Timeless’ – interestingly, Asake appeared on the No. 1 song that week on Davido’s own “NO COMPETITION.”
Asake & Dj Snake’s “WORSHIP” slips 2-3 on this week’s chart after leading the chart for five weeks. It tallied 57.6 million in radio airplay impressions (No. 2 on radio) and 4.73 million on-demand streams (No. 7 on streaming).
Asake’s “MCBH” launches at No. 4 with 5.28 million on-demand streams (No. 3 on streaming) and 7.70 million in radio reach (No. 89 on radio).
Asake’s “Rora” debuts at No. 5 on this week’s chart with 5.01 million on-demand streams (No. 4 on streaming) and 6.62 million in radio airplay reach (No. 106 on radio). This makes Asake the first artiste to hold the entire top five spots of the official singles chart in Nigeria in a week.
Asake’s “Oba” and Asake’s “Wa” start at No. 6 and No. 7 respectively on this week’s Official Nigeria Top 100. No other artiste has ever dominated the upper echelons of the official singles chart in this manner in history – with Asake holding the first seven spots on the Top 100.
Rounding out this week’s top ten; BNXN & Sarz’s “Back Outside” drops 1-8, setting the unwanted record for the biggest drop from No. 1 on the official singles chart in Nigeria. In a more positive note, it is the only song in the top ten that does not feature vocals from Asake, preventing an unprecedented 10/10 clean sweep.
Asake’s “Amen” debuts at No. 9 on this week’s chart while “WHY LOVE” re-enters the singles chart at No. 10, having spent the better part of the last 30 weeks in the Top 100 Recurrent Chart. It peaked at No. 3 on the Official Nigeria Top 100.
Outside the Top Ten
- Asake’s “Asambe” with Kabza De Small debuts at No. 11
- Asake’s former No. 1 “BADMAN GANGSTA” re-enters the Top 100 at No. 12.
- Asake’s “Skillful” debuts at No. 16.
- The intro of ‘M$NEY’ is not eligible for charting purposes on the Top 100 as it does not meet the 30-second criteria. It falls short by just 26 seconds. It would have ranked at No. 89 on this week’s chart. As a result, it becomes the first track off an Asake album not to enter the top 40 of the official singles chart in Nigeria.
- Teni & Olamide’s “Zion” ranks at No. 13 on this week’s chart. It debuted at No. 5 last week.
- Omah Lay’s “I AM” ranks at No. 14. It has peaked at No. 2 so far.
