Chart rankings on the Official Nigeria Top 100 are based on a weighted formula incorporating audio and video streams within Nigeria, as well as airplay on radio in the country. It is the first and only standard music chart in Nigeria, providing comprehensive music activity including the official No. 1 song in Nigeria

Asake & Wizkid’s “Jogodo” tallied 10.23 million on-demand streams (No. 1 on streaming) and 72.6 million in radio reach (No. 1 on radio). As a result, it becomes Asake’s record-extending 15th No. 1 single on the official singles chart in Nigeria. This is Wizkid’s 6th No. 1 entry on the official singles chart – and second collab No. 1 with Asake (“MMS” peaked at No. 1 in 2023).

All the Artistes With Multiple No. 1 Entries as a Duo

  1. Asake & Wizkid; “MMS” and “Jogodo”
  2. Asake & Olamide; “Omo Ope,” “Amapiano” and “99”

Asake appears on both duo.

More Records

“Jogodo” earns the second biggest streaming tally in a week by any single in history – 10.23 million on-demand streams during the week of January 16 – 22, 2026. It is only behind the 10.5 million on-demand streams of Kizz Daniel & EMPIRE’s “Cough (ODO) during the week of October 14 – 20, 2022. Interestingly, “Jogodo” tallied more premium streams than “Cough” with Apple Music & Spotify contributing over 80% of its total streams. Both singles were distributed and released via EMPIRE.

It also records the second biggest total activity across streaming and radio by any single in a week in history– again behind Kizz Daniel & EMPIRE’s “Cough (ODO).”

“Jogodo” holds a 3X lead over the No. 2 song on this week’s chart, becoming one of the elite No. 1 entries hold double the chart points of a No. 2 song in that week. This means that “Jogodo” was three times as popular as the No. 2 song during the tracking week in Nigeria.

Shoday & FOLA’s “Paparazzi” drops 1-2 in its third week on the chart while Young Jonn’s “2Factor” with Asake & FOCALISTIC rises to a new peak of No. 3 in its eighth week on the Official Nigeria Top 100. The song tallied 58.5 million in radio reach (No. 2 on radio) and 1.53 million on-demand streams (No. 10 on streaming).

Ckay & Mavo’s “BODY (danz)” drops 2-4 after spending six non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Top 100. It was the biggest song in the country during the month of December 2025, topping the Annual Detty December Chart for 2025.

Dj Maphorisa, Wizkid, Dj Tunez & Mavo’s “MONEY CONSTANT” rebounds 6-5 in its 13th week on the chart while TxC’s “Nakupenda” with Davido, Shoday, Zlatan, Scotts Maphuma & Al Xapo drops 3-6.

mikeeysmind, chill77 & Unjaps’ “Papaoutai (afro soul)” rockets to a new peak of No. 7 on this week’s Official Nigeria Top 100 – after tallying 1.393 million on-demand streams (No. 12 on streaming) and 44.3 million in radio reach (No. 11 on radio). As a result, it becomes the first AI-generated song to reach the top ten of the official singles chart in Nigeria. 13 years ago, Belgian singer & rapper Stormrae earned a global hit “Papaoutai” and the same song is back on the chart – but with a caveat this time around, without the voice of the original singer.

The three credited artistes are mikeeysmind, chill77 & Unjaps – the former is a Swedish producer born Mikael Daghigi while the latter two are faceless A.I-powered artistes. They make history as the first A.I-powered artistes to enter the top ten of the official singles chart in Nigeria while “Papaoutai (afro soul)” is the first A.I-powered song to enter the top ten region of the Official Nigeria Top 100.

Rounding out this week’s top ten; Priesst’s “Akonuche” lifts to a new peak of No. 8 after drawing 56.04 million in radio airplay reach (No. 3 on radio) and 1.03 million on-demand streams (No. 20 on streaming).

Young Jonn & Rema’s “LaLaLa” dips 5-9 while Dave & Tems’ “Raindance” falls 7-10.

Outside the Top Ten

  • FOLA’s “you” drops out of the top ten for the first time since its debut at No. 11 this week. It logged a historic 23rd consecutive week in the top ten.
  • Seyi Vibez’s “FUJI MOTO” rebounds 28-14 on the chart.
  • No. 11 & Ajay bobo ft. Monochrome’s “HOW FAR” reaches a new peak of No. 16.
  • Seyi Vibez & Omah Lay’s “HEALER” debuts at No. 38 off one day of tracking.
  • BabyDaiz & Kvng Vinci’s “Allonszy” rises to a new peak of No. 42.
