Chart rankings on the Official Nigeria Top 100 are based on a weighted formula incorporating audio and video streams within Nigeria, as well as airplay on radio in the country. It is the first and only standard music chart in Nigeria, providing comprehensive music activity including the official No. 1 song in Nigeria
Chella’s “My Darling” lifts to No. 1 on the Official Nigeria Top 100 after tallying 2.83 million on-demand streams (No. 2 on streaming) and 33.7 million in radio airplay impressions (No. 17 on radio). As a result, “My Darling” is the first ever No. 1 entry for the artiste.
Chella continues a trend of emerging artistes scoring No. 1 entries after their first or second visit to the official singles chart in Nigeria.
Rema’s “Bout U” debuts at No. 2 on the Top 100 – it tallied 2.18 million on-demand streams (No. 3 on streaming) and 45.6 million in radio airplay impressions (No. 9 on radio). This means that none of the top two songs on the official singles chart rank at No. 1 on any of the component charts this week (streaming or radio).
Kunmie’s “Arike” dips 1-3 after topping the chart for five weeks. It continues to lead the streaming chart after tallying 2.85 million on-demand streams.
